The Maxi Botanical Story are Tania's large hand drawn works that measure 54cm (W) x 76 cm (H). These pieces are archival ink drawn on heavy archival Arches watercolour paper. The color work is created using intense watercolour pencils. These beautiful big works allow Tania to get lost in all the inky details while recreating the movement and texture found in the unique Australian landscape.

The Mini Botanical Story
The Mini Botanical Story are smaller more intimate drawings which measure 32cm (W) x 44cm (H). These pieces allow Tania to capture those small pockets of magic that surround a single flower. Using her hand drawn intricate ink work to focus on those little details that we might miss at first glance. These pieces are a great size to add a little vavoom to any room.

Red Earth Festival Artist In Residence
The Honour
So very excited to have been selected as the Red Earth Festival Artist In Residence 2021! What an honour to be invited to spend three weeks immersing my botanical art practice in the unique environment that is the big red landscape in the Pilbara region.
The Focus
The Pilbara region has some of the most unique flora in the country and it was so special to be able to research and document the flora in the area to translate back into my ink drawings. Check out some of my current pieces available in my new shop under the 'Pilbara Residency".
The Journey
I will always be grateful for the amazing experience that was immersed in the colours, textures and flora of the Pilbara landscape. The inspiration can be seen in my current work via the 'Artist In Residence Section' in the Menu above and on instagram @missdaymonddesigns to view videos, photos and progress on my work.
